Fortunately, while in the cloud organizations have different mechanisms, tools and services that allow them to redesign, optimize and therefore evolve their applications to a more competitive model.

At first, Recurso Confiable hosted an application to manage and monitor cargo vehicle traffic based on multiple hosting providers, what caused an inefficient administrative effort, an excessive consumption of computing resources and security vulnerabilities. To solve these shortcomings, the workload was designed and migrated to the cloud based on AWS best practices.
By migrating its mission-critical applications, Kosta Azul overcame performance and scalability issues, as well as eliminating long-term contracts with its data center provider and optimizing excessive time to deploy additional compute capacity for its existing workloads. As a result, Kosta Azul managed to deploy new business ideas in less time and increase the demand of its customers through the e-commerce website.

After the difficulties that many restaurants in Colombia experienced with COVID-19, Entu facilitated the reopening of this sector through virtual waiter service that complies with biosecurity measures through a fully digital interaction that is activated by WhatsApp, where users place their order without having physical contact with the staff. Entu's innovative solution was agilely enabled in Amazon Web Services with the support of IKTINUS, modeling a decoupled deployment under a Serverless computing model that provides Entu the benefits of dynamic scalability, less infrastructure management, high availability, and cost reduction.
Confederación Nacional De Organismos De Apoyo Al Transito (CONFEORG) was able to provide a reliable, available and high-performance platform that integrates the service platforms of different companies that provide transit-related services in Colombia. This integration makes it easier for citizens to carry out all kinds of transit procedures online, from a single platform called PAO. This platform was designed, built and deployed using Amazon Web Services based on the principles, standards and best practices of Cloud Native Computing, allowing scalability and agile updates of the application through our practices, procedures and mechanisms complemented by AWS DevOps services.

Right after the migration project to AWS was completed, Kosta Azul executed the implementation of a disaster recovery scenario in an alternate AWS region distant enough to meet DRP standards.
Productos Químicos Panamericanos (PQP) managed to reestablish its operations with a one-hour RTO and a 15-minute RPO after an impact on the computing infrastructure in its outsourced data center that generated the unavailability of its Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solution, as a mission-critical ERP for its 7x24 operations with customers through the e-commerce website.

The set-up of data ingestion and data at rest corresponding to measurements of quality, volume and productivity of agricultural dairy suppliers, stored in different sources (records of on-site technical visits recorded thru mobile applications, historical performance data in XLS, data recorded through SAP ERP) in a 100% Cloud Native data lake with automated integration and grouping functions. Data lake integration with analytics tools such as Amazon Quick Sight (to create dashboards) and Amazon Athena (direct access to data without provisioning additional development environments) for visibility of results, reports, and statistics.
Its initiative to get a greater use to data in order to generate valuable information and optimize its logistics operations; determined the need to deploy a Cloud Data Warehouse environment to collect and centralize data from different operational sources, both structured and semi-structured, in a data lake on AWS that is later use in its analytics strategies.
